This phrase sums it up for us. So love is the constant. He first loved and so gave us the opportunity for life, life eternal. When our faith becomes sight and our hope is fulfilled. Love remains as the greatest. This gospel love is the foundation for our commitment to Christ, His church and the lost world. This love is the cornerstone of our family. May you be blessed by the words contained in this blog as it follows this journey we call life.

Andi's Baby Shower

The first weekend of March, Meg traveled to Raleigh to work and help with Andi's shower. Andrea and her husband Nathan are some of our friends from Georgia. Page (GA), Jordan (GA), and Steph (GA) were all there! Meg would be what we consider a "married into Georgia girl" though she still loves the North!
It was a wonderful to pray over Judah, his parents and dedicate his life to the Lord. Their prayer for him is Hannah's prayer from I Samuel "I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD...".

The spread!

Steph's masterpiece of a fruit salad!

Favors: A prayer card with baseball sugar cookies. Judah's nursery is done in a baseball theme.

The planning committee with the soon to be mommy!

Enjoying the snack bar,

Getting our skates!

Pastor Donnie Lovette & his son, Quentin

Olivia, Anna, & Katelyn

Anna & Jillian
For all who grew up roller skating...here is our church youth group trip to Jellybeans. We were told by the youth that roller skating is not cool, but it didn't seem to matter if it was cool or not once we were there. We all had a great time and had few falls.

Nick's Ordination

Nick was ordained on Sunday, January 27th! Pastor Lovette gave Nick's charge and the deacons filed to the front to pray over him. The memorable event was followed by a beautiful reception in the fellowship hall.
It was a sobering day for us as we were reminded of the integrity, challenges, and heart that is to be marked of a family that vocationally represents Christ! We are humbled by the pastorate and grateful for His grace in granting us such a

gracious congregation.

FLU!

If we have ever felt like dying - this would be the week! We both ran a fever and felt horrible. You should be grateful that we didn't take any pictures, but this one of all the medicine. Hope that none of you get it. We are well now...thanks for all of your prayers and concern!
