This phrase sums it up for us. So love is the constant. He first loved and so gave us the opportunity for life, life eternal. When our faith becomes sight and our hope is fulfilled. Love remains as the greatest. This gospel love is the foundation for our commitment to Christ, His church and the lost world. This love is the cornerstone of our family. May you be blessed by the words contained in this blog as it follows this journey we call life.

NC Aquarium & Fort Fisher

For Nick's day off, we went to the aquarium and Fort Fisher. We went with the Garris family from our church and had a great time seeing the sites.
We could not believe how close you can get the to alligators in the tank. They are native here and you can see them from the bridges in the harbor. Yikes. I have forbidden Nick to kayak in those waterways. Can you imagine one of those coming up to your little kayak? These litttle tree frogs were the highlight. As you can see the top one was trying to get as close to the heat as possible by climbing on his friend. He kept re-adjusting himself to get comfortable. It reminds us of trying to both fit on our couch. We fit together, but barely and one is always uncomfortable.
